Marjan unveils RAK Central, an exciting project in Ras Al Khaimah, enhancing business and tourism with sustainability and innovation.

Marjan, the respected developer in Ras Al Khaimah, has unveiled a new project: RAK Central. This mixed-use destination is set to open in 2026. It aims to enhance business, tourism, and job opportunities in the Emirate.  It's a groundbreaking initiative set to reshape Ras Al Khaimah's future.

VISION FOR RAK CENTRAL

RAK Central is working towards becoming a dynamic hub that aligns with RAK Vision 2030. Its goal is to contribute to a prosperous and diversified economy. It will also help build cohesive communities, ensure a sustainable future, and emphasise environmental conservation using advanced green building strategies.

STRATEGIC LOCATION

RAK Central will stand on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street. The views include the stunning Al Hamra Golf Club and the Arabian Gulf. It will also have the largest commercial business district in the Northern Emirates. This will offer customised spaces for tenants with flexible open floor plans.

SUSTAINABILITY AND TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION

Following LEED Gold Certification principles, RAK Central commits to sustainability. The commitment extends to creating a smart and innovative ecosystem for thriving communities and businesses. This will incorporate advanced technology solutions such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).

RESIDENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES

Known for high-end residential developments, Marjan integrates freehold residential plots within RAK Central. These plots offer scenic views, pedestrianised green spaces, and parks for a relaxed lifestyle.

ABDULLA AL ABDOULI'S PERSPECTIVE

Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan, emphasises RAK Central's key role in the economic growth of Ras Al Khaimah. He expresses how it aims to be a hub for businesses and international investors. In doing so he mentions that the project will contribute to the Emirate's rapid growth in investment and tourism.

FUTURE VISION

Al Abdouli sees RAK Central as a mirror of Ras Al Khaimah's beautiful surroundings. He mentions how Marjan's commitment to ambitious projects honours the Emirate's heritage. After the success of Al Marjan Island, Al Adbouli also mentioned that Marjan is working on diverse projects. These aim to build master-planned communities and new lifestyle destinations.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AND DEVELOPMENT PHASES

Marjan actively seeks strategic partnerships for RAK Central to align with the vision of Ras Al Khaimah's leadership. The project, developed in phases, will initially include one million square feet of commercial office space, 34 residential plots, and Marjan's headquarters.

COLLABORATIVE APPROACH

Marjan partners with Gensler, a well-known design firm, to make the vision a reality. Construction for the first phase starts in 2024. With a completion date set for the fourth quarter of 2026.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Upon completion, RAK Central will offer three million square feet of rentable office space. It also has over 4,000 residential apartments, three hotels, parks, retail, and entertainment facilities. The interconnected buildings will provide extensive parking, contributing to the vibrant urban landscape.

In summary, RAK Central is set to transform Ras Al Khaimah. It will redefine the economic and lifestyle landscape of the Emirate.
