MODON invests $143M in 10 projects across six Saudi industrial cities, enhancing infrastructure, services, and supporting local businesses.

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON, announced ten new projects. Worth SAR538 million ($143 million), these projects will span six industrial cities.

FOSTERING LOCAL CONTENT & VALUE CHAIN INITIATIVES

MODON works with Saudi companies to create opportunities for local businesses and improve the value chain. These 10 new projects align with this commitment to establishing a great investment environment in the industrial sector. In doing so, they support the National Industrial Strategy and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NDLP).

HELPING THE PRIVATE SECTOR & DIVERSIFYING INCOME SOURCES

MODON's mission aims to help the private sector diversify income sources. This aligns with the goals of the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

MANY CONTRACTS SIGNED ON IMPORTANT PROJECTS

Key Initiatives in Al-Ahsa, Taif, and Al-Madina Al-Munawwara

The authority signed contracts for 80 factories in Al-Ahsa and Taif's industrial cities, as well as the MODON Oasis in Al-Ahsa. These spaces, which are 350 and 450 square meters, intend to make business operations easier. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to boost contributions to the GDP.

Advanced Infrastructure and Expanded Production Areas

MODON also signed contracts for advanced infrastructure in Hail Industrial City and Al-Madina Al-Munawwara Industrial City. The contracts cover over 5.7 million square meters. These efforts support production and uphold industry standards for quality.

Enhanced Services in Industrial Cities

The authority is equally focusing on improving basic services. They have contracts for medium and low-voltage networks in Taif Industrial City. Also, a conversion plant in Tabuk Industrial City is in the works. These projects aim to boost operational efficiency and increase production capacity.

Improving Connectivity and Security

Road construction contracts aim to link Dammam Third Industrial City with King Salman Energy Park (SPARK). The goal is seamless integration, utilizing SPARK's logistical services. Another contract focuses on a civil defence station. This station will help enhance security in industrial cities and the surrounding communities.

INTEGRATED INFRASTRUCTURE & SUPPORT FOR INDUSTRIALISTS

MODON is working to improve infrastructure and help industrialists. In its industrial cities, it offers upgraded land and prefabricated factory products. This supports balanced development goals by using geographical, human, and structural advantages.

ELEVATING THE INVESTMENT LANDSCAPE

In the grand scheme of things, the authority oversees the development of integrated industrial land and aims to meet Quality of Life Program standards. It has over 209 million square meters of developed areas, 6,443 factories, and 1,323 ready-made factories.

As a result, MODON ranks among the world's largest industrial cities. So the industrial area is fuelling sustainable economic growth. It plays a key role in creating a positive impact on the economic landscape.
