Saudi Arabia-based real estate company Dar Al Arkan has unveiled a new AED 800 (USD 217.8 million) residential tower in Dubai. Called Urban Oasis, the tower is being developed in partnership with Italian luxury fashion house Missoni, according to a statement.
Urban Oasis marks the first project by Dar Al Arkan in the UAE, as well as the first real estate development under the company’s regional expansion efforts, the statement said. It is also the first bespoke living space designed by MissoniHome (a Missoni line for interiors, decor, and furnishings) in the Arab world.
The residential tower will be located by the Dubai Water Canal, a 3.2 kilometre-long development along Dubai’s financial and recreational centre.
It will be situated in close proximity to top touristic attractions in Downtown Dubai, including the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, along with views of the Dubai Water Canal.

The Urban Oasis residential tower will be completed by 2023
Urban Oasis will comprise 38 floors of high-end one, two and three-bedroom apartment units, as well as four-bedroom penthouses. The apartments will come in varying sizes with closed kitchens, the statement noted.
Penthouse units within the residential tower will be accessible through a private elevator that comes fully fitted with Missoni fixtures and décor. The units will have 360-degree views of the Dubai canal and the city.
Residents of the luxury waterfront residential tower will have access to facilities that include an infinity pool, a children's play area, car parking, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, and 24/7 concierge and security service.
The luxury interiors from MissoniHome will be a representation of Italian fashion and contemporary design, as well as a sister tower designed by Missoni in Miami, called Missoni Baia. Further, the lobby will feature Missoni’s archetypal zigzag patterns, geometric shapes and patchwork designs.
With construction currently underway, Urban Oasis is expected to be completed by 2023, according to the statement.
