Gathern, Co-founder and CEO Latifa Altamimi, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Established in 2017, Gathern is the first licensed peer-to-peer vacation rental marketplace for the Saudi market. Co-founder and CEO Latifa Altamimi created the platform for users to discover vacation rentals, apartments, villas, farms, chalets and resorts, and even camping sites. According to Forbes Middle East, the company has around 26, 500 properties across more than 175 cities and provinces in Saudi Arabia.

Prypto, founder and CEO Amira Sajwani, UAE

Launched by real-estate businesswoman and entrepreneur Amira Sajwani in October last year, Prypto is a customer-centric platform that offers a fully digital portal for investors, homeowners and agents.

From property ownership to letting and offering bespoke advice from a perspective of business development, Prypto features a dedicated dashboard, instant approvals, and commissions and will provide services for: Mortgage, Equity Release, Buyouts, Rent Now Pay Later (RNPL), and Fractional Ownership.

Baytuki, founder and CEO, Latifa Bin Haider, UAE

Founded by Latifa Bin Haider in 2021, Baytuki – meaning home in Arabic – is a crowdfunding platform that enables, educates and empowers Emirati women from all economic backgrounds to invest in the real estate sector. Reducing the barrier to enter the property market, the platform encourages Emirati women to make micro-investments in the real estate sector from as little as AED 5000. Baytuki, regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority and licensed under Dubai International Financial Centre, handles and facilitates the property purchase, management and sale process.

Hello Alfred, Co-founders Jessica Beck and Marcela Sapone, New York, US

In 2015, Jessica Beck and Marcela Sapone wanted to change the way people lived in cities and started Hello Alfred in New York. The resident-management software enables real estate developers, property managers and FM managers to provide in-home services and experiences for their residents. From rent payments to maintenance requests – and even tackling grocery and laundry services – Hello Alfred was designed with efficiency in mind to help those living in busy cosmopolitan cities the ease of residential management through tech.

Built-ID, founder and CEO Savannah de Savary, London, UK

After growing frustrated with the red tape and lengthy processes around access to critical data for real estate projects, Savannah de Savary founded Built-ID in 2015. Based in London, the platform connects real estate developers and councils with consultants and local communities to deliver socially impacted and sustainable places. The aim is to empower community members to have an equal voice in the decision-making process when it comes to real estate projects.
