Ryan Den Rooijen, Group Head of Data and Analytics at Chalhoub Group assessed the importance of embracing smart technology and discussed how businesses can transform the organisation into one that is able to unlock the value of its data, even if the current climate has changed.

While H.E. Mohamed Ali Rashed Alabbar, Chairman EMAAR Properties, and Founder & Director of Noon.com, put the spotlight on logistics and retail, talking about the strength of online retail and its place in today’s world and how Noon plans on leveraging the opportunity to fast track its footprint.

Celebrity will.i.am, via a video call from his home in the US, told the audience that the proliferation of technology in homes to facilitate office and classrooms will be more prominent in the future.

The half-day conference, which took place at Dubai’s World Trade Centre marks the first event in the emirate following the lockdown and spearheads a list of events that will be coming to DWTC over the next five months.
