Expo City unveils Shamsa Townhouses, a sustainable living experience with 3 & 4-bedroom options, greenery, and urban farming.

Earlier this week Expo City Dubai unveiled its latest residential project, Shamsa Townhouses, offering a collection of townhouses surrounded by lush greenery and urban farming. The development is part of Expo 2020 Dubai's commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable living.

SHAMSA TOWNHOUSES: A SUSTAINABLE LIVING EXPERIENCE

Shamsa Townhouses come in two variants, offering 3 and 4-bedroom options. They have open kitchens, feature islands, master bathrooms, powder rooms, maid’s rooms, and basement parking for 2 vehicles with direct villa access. Prices for these townhouses start at AED 3.4 million.

The project focuses on fair and sustainable development, prioritising residents' health, well-being, and happiness. These townhouses are in a green oasis within a natural habitat.

EXPO VALLEY: HARMONIOUS LIVING WITH NATURE

Expo Valley is a gated community within Expo City, blending lush greenery, a lake, and a wadi with the convenience of urban living. A 1-kilometer wadi will sit between the residential units, featuring various sceneries and terrain, including a water body and rugged topography for hiking. The wadi will create a microclimate that reduces temperatures and acts as a natural sound and dust barrier.

In the Expo Valley town, there are car-free roads, and bike and e-scooter tracks. There are also wellness, education, and leisure opportunities, farm-to-table eating, and accessible shopping. It boasts quick access to all Expo City Dubai's attractions. This is thanks to a "green link" corridor for cyclists, walkers, and self-driving cars.

The construction of the project has already commenced, with the first phase due for completion in January 2026. Residents will have the opportunity to observe natural animals, including grazing gazelles. So, it is a development that truly embraces wildlife and nature.

PROMOTING SUSTAINABILITY AND EASY ACCESSIBILITY

The neighbourhood will have car-free lanes and dedicated tracks for cycles and e-scooters, while the entire road network will be underground. Access to the main attractions in Expo City will be through a pedestrian, cyclist, and autonomous vehicle corridor.

UNIQUE TOPOGRAPHY FOR UNOBSTRUCTED PANORAMAS

Designed with a unique topography known as a folded earth, the Valley offers unobstructed views from residents' terraces. As highlighted earlier, this clever topography also creates a micro-climate that lowers temperatures and acts as a natural buffer against noise and dust.

With Expo Valley's sustainable and nature-centric approach, residents will experience harmonious living with the environment and enjoy a unique and vibrant community in the heart of Dubai.
